Dorothy L. Hamilton

Dorothy L. Hamilton, age 87, passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013 at the Continuing Care Center of Romeo. Dorothy was born August 31, 1926 in Detroit, Michigan the daughter of Al and Lucille (Vernier) Block. Dorothy worked for many years as an office manager for National Expo. Dorothy is survived by her children: Bob (Mary Ellen) Hamilton & Tom (Diane) Hamilton. Also survived by 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, son-in-law Ken Pogarch, along with siblings: Nancy (Bud) Nagel & Don (Eleanor) Block. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Bob, daughter Susan Pogarch, & sister Elaine . Funeral services will take place on Thursday, January 2, 2014 at 4 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Fr. Jerry Kessel of the Capuchin Retreat Center in Washington Township. Memorial visitation will be on Thursday from 1-4 PM. Donations to the Alzheimers Association would be appreciated.
