Dorothy Mae Lobeck

Dorothy Mae Lobeck, age 92, of Richmond and formerly from Romeo passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at her assisted living home in Armada. Dorothy was born April 30, 1923 in Toronto, Canada, the daughter of William and Lillian (Coathop) Barker. At 3 months, she moved with her family to East Detroit. She then married Joseph Frederick Lobeck on February 6, 1943 and he preceded her in death on July 18, 2002. For 21 years, she lived in Seabring, Florida where she enjoyed bowling, dancing, & golf. But her most joy in life was being with her grandchildren & great grandchildren. Dorothy is survived by her children: Wayne (Sharon) Lobeck of Armada and Joseph Jr. (Frederick) (Barbara) Lobeck of Algonac. Grandchildren include Tracie Beth (Stephen) Chene of Farmington Hills, September Mestan of Highland, MI., and Wayne Jr. (Carrie) Lobeck of St Clair. Great grandchildren include Haley & Jolie Chene, Connor, Mackenzie & Jilliean Lobek. Visitation will take place on Friday, November 27 from 3-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo.
