Dorothy R. Stotts, age 92, a resident of the Romeo, Michigan area, began her NEW life walking on the streets of gold on Sunday, May 30th, 2021. Dorothy was born August 23, 1928 at the family farm in Warren, Michigan. Her parents were Elmer and Bertha (Bower) Momrow. She married Rev. Charles E. Stotts who preceded her in death in 1991. Dorothy’s many gifts helped him as he pastored many churches in Michigan and Tennessee. She had a love for music and her talent on the piano was put to good use. Not only did she play in church but also for many nursing homes and friends along the way. Dorothy was known for making cakes for the resident’s birthday and taking special requests of their favorite songs to play on the piano. She absolutely loved her flowers and checking in on her many friends as well. Most of all, her family was her world. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Edward (Janice) Stotts of TN, Bonnie (Clifford) Jackson of MI., Bruce ( Tama) Stotts of NY., and Paul (Chris) Stotts of MI. Dorothy is survived by her brother , Edward (Judy) Momrow. She was blessed to enjoy 11 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren with one more due in September, one great great grandchild. Funeral visitation at the Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo Michigan will be held Tuesday June 8, 2021 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and there will be additional visitation on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM with the funeral at 11 AM. A committal service will be held at White Chapel Memorial Cemetery in Troy Michigan immediately following.
