Douglas S. Wilhelm

Douglas “Doug” S. Wilhelm, age 54, a resident of Brown City, passed away on July 17, 2016 at the Marlette Regional Hospital. He was born on January 26, 1962 in Mount Clemens, the son of Ronald and Madeline (Ragatzki) Wilhelm. He was a member of the US Navy for 4 years and was in the Reserves for 2 years. He married Kristine Meyers on July 3, 1998 at thier house in Yale, Michigan. Most of his life he worked for various companies in the Rigging Industry. He loved working on motors, cars, and had a passion for guns. Douglas is survived by his wife Kristine, daughters Amie Brorson, Dawn (Luke) Sills, Julie Barron, and grandchildren Abbey, Sophia, Jayla, and Taylor. Also survived by his parents Ronald and Madeline, brothers Greg (Kathy), and Eric (Linda), sister Jennifer (Domenic) Giannotti, and 3 nephews and 1 niece. Douglas also had 4 fur children Gracie, Kali, Blazer and Ruby. Funeral services will be held on Saturday July 23, 2016 at 11:30 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo, Michigan, with visitation from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family.
