Timothy “Dusty” Lee Winters, age 65, a lifelong Romeo area resident passed away in his home on Saturday, May 18, 2019. Dusty was born March 16, 1954 in Mt Clemens, the son of Calvin & Katie (Bishop) Winters. Dusty worked at the Ford Axle Plant in Sterling Heights and was well known in the construction business in the Romeo area. He had many hobbies, including gardening, working & driving muscle cars, arm wrestling and playing pool. Dusty is survived by his longtime companion Gloria Rahm of Romeo; son Timothy Winters of Colorado; Gloria’s children John & Annette, grandchildren Drina & Brezzy Strickland and Jenny Rahm; his father Calvin of Romeo; his siblings Marlene (Richard) Dickson of Lenox, Darlene (Jerry) Gallagher of Utica, Mike (Ersella) of Shelby Township, Sherry (Charlie) Gomes of Bruce Twp., Doug (Terri) of Romeo, Cindy Winters of Washington Twp., Deenie (Dave) Degroff of Richmond, Sheila (Jim) Sangster of Shelby Twp., Jewell (Ed) Prieskorn of Washington Twp., Kim (John) Guerra of Bruce Twp., Greg (Wendy) of Washington, and Kelly (Paul) VanHaverbeck of Almont; as well as many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Dusty was preceded in death by his mother Katie in 2018. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, May 23, 2019 at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 22, 2019 from 2-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Romeo Cemetery.
