Edmund G. Redlawski, 91 longtime resident of Bruce Township passed away peacefully at home with family at his side on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. Edmund was born in Warren, Michigan, on December 20, 1926, a son of the late John and Marie (Springer) Redlawski. He was united in marriage to Rosalyn Shoobridge on September 15, 1956 at St. Clement Catholic Church in Centerline. After twenty four years of employment at Chrysler's Sterling Stamping Plant as an overhead crane operator, Edmund retired in 1990. Ed loved gardening, wood craft, completing puzzles, going to the casino, and volunteering at the senior center. He was also a member of Knights of Columbus Council # 7018 of St Clement of Rome, Bishop Schoenherr Assembly NO 3057, and along with his family, members of St Clement Catholic Church in Romeo. Edmund is survived by his wife Rosalyn of Bruce Township; his daughter Janet M. (Joseph) Ventimiglia of Chesterfield; siblings Eleanor Shoobridge of Armada, Phyllis (Jim) Pikle of Dryden, Shirley (Jim) French of Virginia, Harvey of Utica, August of Beaverton, John (Phyllis of Waterford, Herbert (Lona) of Remus, and brother in law Dan Dessouris of Canada. Edmund was preceded in death by his son Edmund R, his sisters Sylvia Brinker Margaret Carver and Dorothy Dessouris, brother Clarence. Visitation will be held at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home 11280 32 Mile Road Romeo on Wednesday, May 30, from 6-8pm and Thursday, May 31, from 2-8pm with Rosary at 7pm by the Knights of Columbus Council #7018. Funeral Service will take place at St Clement Catholic Church in Romeo at 10am on Friday June 1, 2018 with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
