Edna Hingst

Edna Hingst, age 91, a resident of Armada since 1986, and previously from Center Line, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, January 15, 2019. Edna was born January 23, 1927 in Detroit, the daughter of Ernest and Mildred (Harris) Peacock. She married Frederick K. Hingst in 1947 and he preceded her in death on July 22, 2003. She enjoyed working in the garden and being with her family & friends. Edna is survived by her children; Susan (Dennis) Wilson of Kingsford, MI., Linda (John) Braschayko of Lapeer, MI., Judy (Jason) Jorgensen of Brighton, MI., Fred Jr. (Sherry), of Glendale, AZ and JoAnn (Jim) Hingst-Dunn of Chesterfield, Twp, MI.; 20 grandchildren Paul (Karen), Todd (Margie), Erik (Stephanie) Wilson, Anne (Jason), Karen, Brenda (Chad), Suzanne (Jason), Nancy (Joe), John Braschayko (Kaitlynn), Kevin (Maureen), Jason (Stephanie), Douglas (Jackie) Krause, Fred III (Sarah), Nate (Erica), Libby (Nick) Hingst, Jimmy (Kerri), Karl (Cat), Jessica (Ryan), Kyle (Braelynn) and Kiersten Dunn; 37 great– grandchildren; Paige, Cierra, Maria, Grace, Tess, Lydia, Brendan, Matthew, Lukas, Isabella, Natalie, Samantha, Fred IV, Ian Lacey, Ella, Gabriella, Brock, Joe, Charlotte, Vivienne, Lukas, Alex, Greta, Abbey, Ellie, Miles, Isaac, Liam, Genevieve, Alina, Ingrid, Madeleine, Avery, Adam, Henrik, and Benjamin; and her sister Ruthe Warren of Fowerville. Edna was preceded in death by her sister Laura MacLeod of Connecticut. Burial services will take place at Willow Grove Cemetery in Armada at a later date. Local arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
