Edna Jane Vallie, age 85, wife of loving husband Clarence “Butch” Vallie (39 years) resident of Ray Michigan, passed away peacefully on January 10, 2022 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township, MI. Edna was born on December 3rd, 1936 in Capac, MI. She attended Armada High School, and worked throughout the years as she raised her family. In 1991, she retired as Office Manager at Acorn Tool and Die, Rochester, MI. She is survived by her son Michael (Denise) Klaus of Hudson Ohio, daughter Lori (Gary) Holmes of Shelby Township, MI and son Mark (Jennifer) Klaus of Rochester Hills, MI. Also by her brother Dan Burak of Sterling Heights, MI, and sister-in-law Barbara Burak of Capac, MI. Seven grandchildren, Brandon Holmes, Kaylia (Bobby) Holmes Miehlke, Brittany (Travis) Klaus Minniear, Jordan (Megan) Holmes, Michael (Catherine) Klaus, Trevor Klaus, and Jillian Klaus. Also, four great-grandchildren, Weston and Christian Miehlke, plus Harlie and Ella Jane Holmes. She is preceded in death by Parents Max and Regina Burak, and sisters Margaret Cornett and Norma Schemansky also brother Bill Burak. Jane, as she was known by many of her friends, loved the beauty of the outdoors and was fond of gardening and peaceful moments enjoying God’s creation. She was a fun, loving, and caring person who enjoyed cooking, playing Euchre, and watching the Detroit Tigers. As a member of Peace Lutheran Church, she loved singing in the choir, and the company of fellow members. Most of all, she loved the special times visiting with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and instilled strong Christian values that will be with them forever. She will be dearly missed by all who she touched, and lives forever in our hearts. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Parkinson’s Foundation at Parkinson.org
