Elizabeth A. Rogan

Elizabeth A. Rogan, age 72, a lifelong resident of Romeo, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at Beaumont Hospital of Troy. Elizabeth was born November 15, 1944 in Mount Clemens, Michigan, the daughter of Arnold and Virginia (Glover) Lothery. Elizabeth was a minister for over 30 years. She loved working with children and also enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with family, friends, and her church family. Elizabeth is survived by husband James Rogan Sr. of Romeo, son James Rogan Jr. of Detroit, daughters Veretta (Edward) Mahone of Mount Clemens, and Rebecca Rogan of Romeo. Sisters Mabel Craft of Romeo, and Donna Lothery of Port Huron, brothers Arnold (Susie) Lothery of Mount Clemens, Marshall Lothery of Port Huron, David (Mary) Lothery of Austin, Texas, and Richard Lothery of Romeo, grandchildren Alicia, Louis and James Mahone, Elizabeth, Christopher, Guy, Joy, and James Gray, great-grandchildren Isaiah, Blake, Zach, Laniya and Kamari. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father, Arnold Lothery, mother Virginia Lacey granddaughters Angelica Rogan and Marisa Wilson and sister Rosetta Lee. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 11 AM at the First Church of God, (230 Mussey Street, Romeo, Michigan 48065). Visitation will be held Friday May 12, 2017 from 5-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.
