Elizabeth B. Reiber, age 95, passed away on Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Angelica’s Place in Romeo. She was born on January 23, 1919 in Sterling Heights, Michigan, the daughter of Louis and Barbara (Ohlert) Schoenherr. Elizabeth was a beautiful wife, mother, and patriot. Raised on the farm she enjoyed time with her family, spending time gardening and baking great pies. Elizabeth is survived by her five children; Michael Reiber (Sherrill Beaubien) of Leonard, Michigan, Timothy Reiber (Sheryl Kalnow) of Romeo, Michigan, Steven Reiber (Gayle Eliason) of Seattle, Washington, Elizabeth Reiber Agase (Tom Agase) of Highland Village, Texas, and Christopher Reiber (Lori Rogers) of Shelby Township, Michigan. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Janell Reiber Farmer (Timothy Farmer), Michael Reiber (Tinamarie Dunkirk), Elizabeth Agase, Rebecca Reiber Hart (Carl Hart), Paul Agase (deceased), Benjamin Reiber (Rachel Owen), Christopher Reiber, Matthew Reiber (Brandy Skurya-children, James, Jayden, Alaina, Brennan),Amy Reiber, Nathan Reiber, great grandchildren; Victoria, Alexandra, Corbin, Olivia, Abigail, and Aliya. Elizabeth is also survived by her two sister in laws; Helen Schoenherr and Bernadette Schoenherr. She is preceded in death by her husband Harold, 12 siblings; Ethel (Leo) Jenuwine, Louis (Cecilia) Schoenherr, Paul (Viola) Schoenherr, Jim (Mildred) Schoenherr, Tom (Delores) Schoenherr, Marian (Glen) Hoxsey, Catherine (Harold “Hockeyâ€) Moore, Beatrice (Cliff) Reiterman, Suzanne (Frank) D’Angelo, Jack Schoenherr, Eugene Schoenherr, and Margaret Masters on August 4, 2014. Funeral services will take place on Thursday, December 18 at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo, with Father John officiating. A luncheon will be held at Greystone Golf Course (32 and Mound) following the service. Donations can be made to Alzheimers Association. Visitation: Visitation will take place on Wednesday, December 17 from 4 PM to 8 PM at the Funeral Home. Services: Funeral services will take place on Thursday, December 18 at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo, with Father John officiating. A luncheon will be held at Greystone Golf Course (32 and Mound) following the service. Interment: Burial will take place at a later date at the Elk Ridge Cemetery near Traverse City, MI.
