Elizabeth Jean Gee

Elizabeth Jean Gee, age 86, a 28 year resident of Almont and formerly from Rochester Hills, Michigan passed away on Monday, March 21, 2017 at her home. Elizabeth was born January 26, 1931 in Detroit, the daughter of Arnold John and Helen Mae (Bradfield) Wyss. Elizabeth married John Charles Gee on August 29, 1953 at St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Romeo. Elizabeth was an account/bookkeeper for her family’s business, “Diamond Broach Company Inc.”” of Warren Mi which made specialty tool parts for the auto industry from 1968-1988. Along with her family, they were previously long time members of St Paul’s Episcopal Church in Romeo, Episcopal Church of LaBelle Florida and the Angelican Church of Canada. She had a love for numbers and was considered a financial guru. Her hobbies included traveling and playing piano. Elizabeth, is survived by her children: John (Jan) of Almont & Caroline (Douglas) Sowatsky of PA.. Grandchildren include John & Helen Sowatsky and Bradfield Gee. She was preceded in death by her son Carl and granddaughter Lauren Gee. Funeral services will take place on Saturday at 10 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Rev. Richard Dalton officiating. Visitation will take place on Friday from 4-8 PM. Donations to Hospice of Michigan would be appreciated.
