Emerson Bruce Gage

E. Bruce Gage, age 73, a 23 year resident of Roseville and formerly from Detroit, passed away on Thursday, July 31, 2008 at Beaumont Hospital in Troy.  Bruce was born March 3, 1935 in Detroit, the son of Harry E. and Jesse (Galloway) Gage.  He married Valerie Wolschlager in Detroit in 1980.  Bruce was a window cleaner until retirement in 1993 for Metro Cleaning Consultant.  In this job, Bruce cleaned the outside windows at the Renaissance Center in Detroit.  His hobbies included showing his 1967 Malibu at car shows, gambling, traveling, walking the Macomb Mall and being with his beloved dog Brandy.      Bruce is survived by his wife Valerie, children Bruce A. (Donna) Gage of St Clair Shores & Jane Sowards of Everett, Washington.  Grandchildren include Richard, James, Charles, Taylor, Tracey, & Meghan.  Also survived by two great grandchildren James & Eric.      Funeral services will take place on Saturday, August 2 at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Rev. Mark Evans of St John Lutheran Church of Romeo officiating.  Burial will follow in the West Berlin Cemetery.
