Erin J. Trombley

Erin Jean Trombley, age 33 of Shelby Township, Michigan, passed away on February 10, 2019. Erin was born March 13, 1985 to Michael Trombley and Sally Adams. Erin was a graduate of Lutheran High North, she excelled in both academics and athletics. At heart she was an artist, a painter, and a musician. Her generous spirit made her a compassionate care giver at Sunrise Assisted Living in Rochester, Michigan, where she was most recently employed. She was a certified Yoga Instructor and a Blue/Black belt in Karate. “To consider that after the death of the body the spirit perishes, is like imagining that a bird in a cage will be destroyed if the cage is broken, though the bird has nothing to fear from the destruction of the cage. If the cage comes broken, the bird will continue and exist. Its feelings will be even more powerful, its perceptions greater, and its happiness increased. There is no paradise greater than the freedom from the cage.” -an excerpt from a Bahai’ book of writings Erin is survived by her parents, Sally Adams of Shelby Township, Michael and Connie Trombley of Lapeer, and siblings Kyle Trombley of Royal Oak and Drew and Casey Marin of Romeo, and her nephew Elliot and niece Avery; Grandparents include David and Carmen Adams of Sarasota, Florida, and David and Virginia Trombley of Roscommon, Michigan. Erin’s celebration of life will take place on Thursday, February 14 at 11 AM at the First Congregational Church of Romeo (102 Church Street, Romeo Michigan 48065) .
