Ernest G. Moeller Jr.

Ernest G. Moeller, age 91, of Romeo since 1988, passed away on Monday, November 20, 2017. He co-founded “Sturbridge Homes” of Mt. Clemens, building many homes and office buildings in the Macomb and Oakland counties. Ernie founded, and along with his family, operated “Petroleum Resources, Inc.” from 1962 until 2016. Survived by his children: Sharon (Chuck) Brennecke , Michael (Paula) Moeller, and Mark J. Moeller, 5 grandchildren, brother Rich (Bobbi) Moeller and sister Linda (Gary) Heinen . Ernie was preceded in death by his wife Noella, son Scott A. Moeller, and sister Lois Humphrey. Services will take place on Sunday, November 26 at 1 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Rev. Jeffrey Draeger. Burial will follow in the Romeo Cemetery. Donations to Our Redeemer L.C., the Salvation Army or St Jude’s Children Hospital would be appreciated. Visitation will be on Saturday, November 25 from 2-8 PM at the Funeral Home.
