Ernista A. Craft, age 94, a 9 year resident of Romeo and formerly from Mt Clemens, passed away on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 at her home. Ernista was born October 8, 1915 in Mt Clemens, the daughter of Conrad and Martha (Siewert) Lemp. She married Truman W. Craft on June 10, 1939 at Gilbert Memorial Baptist Church in Mt Clemens. After working a few years at the Mt Clemens Pottery, she then worked with her family at the “Craft’s Orchard & Cider Mill” in Macomb Twp., from 1948 till 2001. Upon retirement in 2001, she enjoyed traveling with her husband. They visited 47 States and Mexico in their travels. At home, Ernista was active as a 4-H sewing leader, loved all types of arts, and tending to her flowers. She was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Mt Clemens. Ernista is survived by her husband Truman, children: Truman A. (Judith) of Armada Twp., Marvin (Sharon) of Washington Twp., and Karen (Patrick) Lukosavich of Romeo. Grandchildren include Teri Schoenherr & Brian Craft, Marc & Michael Lukosavich, Jodi Anderson, & Robert Kimball. Great grandchildren include Scarlett, Korbyn, Camrym, Alexys, & Collins. Ernista was preceded in death by her daughter Sharon Cukr, siblings: Leslie, Reynolds, & Alfred Lemp, Margaret Huff, & Della Kidd. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, August 21 at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo (11280 32 Mile Rd., Romeo)with Pastors Bob Harvey & Jeff Forester of the Heritage Church of Macomb officiating with burial to follow in Cadillac Memorial Gardens East. Visitation is on Thursday from 6-8 and on Friday from 2-8. Visitation: on Thursday from 6-8 PM on Friday from 2-8 PM Services: on Saturday, August 21 at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, 11280 32 Mile Road, Romeo, MI 48065 Interment: Cadillac Memorial Gardens East in Clinton Township.
