Esther A. Stowell

Esther A. Stowell, age 100, formerly of Romeo, passed away on March 3, 2021 surrounded by her family. Esther was born on December 23, 1920 the daughter of Ernest Wenzel and Minta (Helsel). On April 11, 1944 she married Herbert and he preceeded her in death in 1992. She helped her husband with many businesses for many years. Her hobbies included gardening, travel, and enjoyed going on many cruises. Esther loved Ireland and traveled there thirteen times. Ester enjoyed gardening, travel and spending time with her Grandchildren and a Great Grandchild. She was a life long Lutheran with a deep and abiding faith. Esther is survived by her son Jon (Patti) Stowell of Waterford, and her daughter Debra (John) Mullins of Oxford. Grandchildren Alex and Evan (Olivia) Zemaitis and great grandson August Zemaitis. Esther was preceeded in death by her daughter Janet Ziesemer in 1973. Funeral services will take place on Monday, March 8, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Visitation will take place on Sunday March 7, 2021 from 5-8 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.
