Eunice J. Zions

Eunice J. Zions, age 78, a lifelong resident of Romeo, passed away on Friday, October 17, 2014 at Crittenton Hospital Medical Center in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Eunice was born on October 30, 1935 the daughter of Donald and Mary (MacDonald) Jaynes. She married the late Michael Zions on May 24, 1954 at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Romeo. Eunice loved watching the Food Network channel and knitting/crocheting all types of clothing. Eunice is survived by her children: Ellen King of Washington, MI., Shannon (Bob) Emerick of Ray Township, Terry Zions of Chesterfield Twp., and Troy (Karen) Zions of Shelby Township. Grandchildren include Jennifer, Cassie, Michael, Nicholas, Alex, Vicky, Allen, Carter, Kyle, Emily, and Jenna. Great grandchildren include Taylor, Addey, Carson, Xavier, Shawn, Stephanie, Paisley, and Barrett. Sister Kathryn Battani. Eunice was preceded in death by her husband Mickey, son Tod, parents Donald and Mary, brother Bob Jaynes, nephew Robbie, Niece Kim, and great grandson Daniel. A memorial service will take place on Friday October 24, 2014 from 4-7 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home.
