Eva Aspiranti

Eva Aspiranti, age 97, a 6 year resident of Oakland Township and formerly from the Waterford, MI., area, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Crittenton Hospital in Rochester Hills, MI. Eva was born October 22, 1913 in Detroit, the daughter of Phil and Marie (Fodale) Badalmenti. Eva married Anthony Aspiranti in 1928 and he preceded her in death in 1995. Eva loved to knit and crochet and when she moved to Oakland Township, she attended St Clement Catholic Church in Romeo. Eva is survived by her children: Vincent Aspiranti of Oakland Township, Catherine VanTroostenberghe of Sterling Heights, MI., Mary (Bill) Murphy of Royal Oak, and Eva Edwards of Novi, MI. Also survived by 17 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren. Eva was preceded by sons: Anthony, Phil, Joseph, and Sam. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 10 AM at St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo with burial at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan. Visitation on Sunday from 5-9 and on Monday from 2-9 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
