Eva Jane Dixon

Eva Jane Dixon, age 83, a 43 year resident of Romeo passed away on Monday August 5, 2013 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Twp., Michigan. Eva was born on April 15, 1930 in Dunbar, WI. the daughter of Carl and Myra (Hill) Schroder. She married James Dixon on August 18, 1950 in Dubuque, Iowa and he preceded her in death on April 24, 2007. Jane was a Nurse in public health for many years and for many years ran a Christmas Tree Farm that was owned by her family. Jane is survived by her children; Jerri (Eldon) Roberts of Elisie, MI, James Jr. (Linda) and Jay both of Romeo along with 7 grandchildren and 3 great grand children. Funeral services will take place on Thursday August 8, 2013 at 11 AM at St. John Lutheran Church Romeo, Michigan with Rev. Mark Evans officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday August 7, 2013 from 4-8 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. Burial will be at Pembine Cemetery in Pembine, WI.
