Evelyn M. Lomakoski

Evelyn M. (Rumball) Lomakoski, age 93, Romeo area resident, passed away on February 23, 2021 at her home surrounded family. Evelyn was born December 25, 1927 in Birmingham, MI. She married Stephen M Lomakoski July 15, 1950. She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Stephen M Lomakoski (2019), Sharon A (Lomakoski) Czajka (2010), and her beloved son in-law Theodore J Czajka (2019). Known as the Matriarch of the family her hobbies included her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, entertaining family and friends and cleaning as well as shopping anywhere. She was a lifelong member of St. Clement Catholic Church. Evelyn is survived by her children, Diana (Bryan) Nelson of Memphis, MI, Linda Lomakoski of Washington, MI, Stephanie Lomakoski (Erik Most) of Romeo, MI and Stephen Lomakoski (Richard McMains) of Milford, MI. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, February 27, 2021 at 10 AM at St. Clement Catholic Church of Romeo (343 South Main Street Romeo, MI 48065) with burial to follow at the Romeo Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Friday 1-8 with a 7 PM rosary at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. Donations to Henry Ford Hospice would be appreciated.
