Frankie Michael Savalle

Frankie Michael Savalle, age 80, of Attica, Michigan passed away on March 7, 2025. Born on January 7, 1945. Frank had a long and distinguished career with Ford Motor Company and a deep commitment to his family and community.

 Frank began his career at Ford Motor Company in 1964, where he started working on the line before transitioning to the trades and becoming a skilled millwright. His dedication and hard work were evident throughout his career, and in time, he became a respected plant committee member. In 1992, Frank’s leadership and service were recognized when he was elected as the Plant Chairman, a position he held with distinction. His career reached new heights when, in 1996, he became a Health and Safety Representative with the UAW International, a role in which he passionately worked until his retirement on October 1, 2004.

 In addition to his professional accomplishments, Frank was a dedicated and loving family man. He was married to Rosemary Savalle for over 45 years, and together they raised three children: Deborah, Sandra, and Frank. He took great joy in spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, creating cherished memories that will be treasured for generations.

 He was also an avid golfer, bowler, and enjoyed fishing trips to the lake. Frank deeply valued the time spent with his brothers, Mike Savalle, Jim Savalle, Joe Savalle, and Gary Schmalenburg, with whom he shared a special bond. Frank’s dedication to his work, his union, and his family made him a beloved figure to all who knew him. His legacy of service, love, and commitment will be remembered by all who were fortunate to be part of his life.

 Frank is survived by his children, Deborah, Sandra, and Frank; his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends. He is now reunited with his wife, Rosemary, and other loved ones.

Frankie Michael Savalle will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2025 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home (11280 32 mile rd. Romeo, MI 48065) from 10-4 pm, with a memory share beginning at 3pm.
