Frederick Charles Brewer

Frederick C. Brewer, ago 71, a 40 year resident of Washington Township, passed away on September 13, 2017. Fred was born on July 25, 1946 in Allegan Michigan, the son of Reo and Violet (Duryea) Brewer. Fred married Patricia Smith in 1972. After obtaining his Masters Degree from Eastern Michigan University, he taught Physical Education at Romeo Middle School for 30 years and retired in 2003. Fred was a beloved coach of basketball for 34 years coaching all levels of Boys and Girls. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, loved running, golf and camping. Fred is survived by his loving wife Patricia of 45 years. He is also survived by his children Steve (Jacqueline) Brewer of Macomb and Katie (Adam Blome) Brewer of Roseville. He is also survived by his brother Carroll (Pat) Brewer of Dorr Michigan. Fred leaves behind two grandchildren, Ava and Violet.
