Frederick Edward Falk

Frederick E. Falk, age 86, January 4, 1939 to March 24, 2025

  Fred was born in Detroit MI to Henry and Genivive (Joyce) nee Stanley Falk. During his childhood his family moved to the Romeo area. Fred graduated from Romeo High School in 1957. Shortly after graduation he joined the United States Air Force as an aircraft mechanic. Fred served in the Air Force and Army National Guard for 7 years.

  On January 21, 1961 Fred married Linda Sweeney at St. Clement Catholic Church of Romeo. They had 4 children together and were married for 64 years, the entire time living in the Romeo area.

  Fred worked as a mechanic for area auto dealerships and as a police officer for the Romeo Police Department and the Macomb County Sheriff Department, as well as a Volunteer for the Romeo Fire Department. In 1974 Fred started a boat repair business which eventually grew into a full-service Marina business until his retirement in 2000.

  Fred is survived by his wife Linda, daughters Tammy (Rob) Krozal, Theresa Falk, Tina (Steve) Gust, son Tim (Dawn) Falk. grandchildren David (Amanda) Jacquemain, Ken Krozal, Tim Falk, Matt Krozal, Kristina (Matt) Krozal, Maleah Gust, Megan (Eddie) Zopf, Meric Gust, great grandchildren Addyson, Connor, Dominic and Kinsley.

  A private graveside service will take place at a later date.
