Georgia L. Schadewald

Georgia L. Schadewald, age 47, a 20 year resident of Washington Twp., and previously from Romeo, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at her home. Georgia was born May 28, 1962 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the daughter of Donald Lee and Genevieve (Rex) Libby. She graduated from Romeo High School in 1980. She married Donald A. Schadewald on July 28, 1984 at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Washington Twp. Her love of life was being an expert cross-stitcher, driving her 1935 Chevy, reading, gardening, and going on road trips. Georgia is survived by her husband Don, siblings: Timothy (Jackie) Libby of Washington Twp., Judy (Bernard) Yahner of Commerce Twp., and Mary Libby of Imlay City, MI. Also survived by her niece Lauren Yahner. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with burial to follow at Mt Vernon Cemetery in Washington Twp. Visitation will take place on Monday from 6-9 and on Tuesday from 2—9 PM. Visitation: Monday from 6 till 9 PM Tuesday from 2 till 9 PM Services: Wednesday at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home Interment: Mt Vernon Cemetery in Washington Twp. corner of 28 mile road and Mt Vernon Road.
