Georgina Marie Campbell, age 93, a lifelong Macomb County resident passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022 at Orchard Grove Legacy Nursing Facility in Bruce Twp., MI. Georgina was born August 14, 1928 in Sterling Township, Michigan, the daughter of Henry C. and Alice (VanThomme) Malburg. She married Donald T. Campbell on November 10, 1948 at St Lawrence Catholic Church in Utica and they were married for over 70 years before Don passed away on December 23, 2018. Along with their family, they were long time truck gardeners at their Armada Township farm. Georgina was a long time Ray Community 4-H Leader, member of St Clement Catholic Church, Women’s Guild member & helped out with funeral luncheons at church. She loved to golf and go on senior citizens bus trips to casino’s around Michigan. Georgina was an accomplished porcelain artist who loved to give her painted china to her family and friends. She believed in education, going back to get her GED after she was married and helping her children get their college education to make their life easier than the farm life she was brought up on. Georgina loved to be around her many grandchildren & great grandchildren and watch them grow up. She is survived by her children: Dr. Donald Campbell, M.D., Daniel (Christine), Donna (Thomas) Seales, Diane (Kip) Williams, Deborah (Mark) Prentiss, and MaryAnn (Gregory) Rivers. Also survived by 13 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and siblings: Eilene D’Hondt and Grace Debruyn. She was preceded in death by daughter- in- law Paula Goltz-Campbell, son-in-law Mark Kalousdian, grandson Kyle Kalousdian and siblings: Leonard, Charles, Frances Pewinski, Edward, Joseph, Evelyn VanPamel, Alice Sabbe & Henry Malburg. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, February 16 at 10 AM at St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 2-8 with a 7 PM Rosary by the Knights of Columbus Council # 7018 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. Burial will take place at the West Berlin Cemetery in Allenton Michigan.
