Geraldine "Geri" Jacklyn

Geraldine “Geri” Jacklyn, age 66, a life long resident of Washington/Romeo passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 13, 2014. Geri was born January 21, 1948 in Detroit, the daughter of Leo and Dorothy (Zapinski) Waldowski. She married Richard Jacklyn on May 21, 1983. Geri currently worked as a Real Estate agent for RealLiving, Kee Realty in Washington Township. For many years she ran the advertising department at the Romeo Observer Newspaper. Geri was an avid gardener and animal lover who loved to feed her many wild animals at her house. Geri is survived by her husband Richard, step-children Richard (Tina) Jacklyn of Chesterfield Twp. and Terra O’Hara of Warren, MI. Also survived by her sisters: Charlotte (Dick) Agusti of Romeo & Darlene (Andrew) Hejnas of Central Valley, NY. Step grandchildren include Ashley, Jaime, & Kayla. Funeral services will take place on Monday at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Fr. Jerry Kessel of the Capuchin Retreat Center in Washington Township officiating.
