Gerold D. Ramsey

Gerold Dean Ramsey, age 69, passed at his house in Ira Township, Michigan on Friday, June 9, 2023. Gerold was born November 26, 1953 in Sneedville, TN., the son of Franklin and Mable (Carroll) Ramsey and later moved to Michigan where he began his career as a sheet metal model maker. On September 2, 1972, he married Sabrina Turner in Tazewell, TN. When not spending time with his family, he enjoyed hunting & fishing.

Gerold is survived by his wife of 50 years Sabrina, children Jason (Elise), Jennifer (Matt) Wimbury and daughter-in-law Buffy White. Grandchildren include Kristen, Kayla (Tim) Jesalyn, Matthew, Kelsey, Kendra, Jason Jr., Abigail, Abrianna, Tristin, &Christian. Great grandchildren include Connor, Phoenix, Oliver, Lillian, Addilynn, Ariana, Elliana, Jameson, Elaina, & Genevieve. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mabel and Franklin Ramsey.

Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 3-8 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with the Funeral taking place on Thursday at 10 AM, also at the Funeral Home. Gerold will then be laid to rest at the Van Hoosen Jones Stoney Creek Cemetery in Rochester Michigan.
