Gervase J. Kiley, age 76, of Washington Twp., and formerly from Duluth, Georgia/Roseville, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2010 at the Shelby Nursing Complex in Shelby Twp. Gervase was born July 9, 1934 in Detroit, the son of Gervase J. and Anastasia E. (Webber) Kiley. He married the former Sally Webster on May 22, 1954 in Detroit. Gervase worked for General Motors as a tool maker for over 40 years, starting at the Fleetwood Plant in Detroit and retiring from the plant in Doraville, Georgia in 1995. Upon retirement he worked for a few years at Pine Valley Golf Course in Ray, MI., and his hobbies included golfing and bowling. Gervase is survived by his wife Sally of Washington Twp., children: John M. (Carol) of Macomb Twp. and William A. (Terri) of Peck, MI. Grandchildren include Matthew, Sara, & Andrew along with great grandchildren Bryce, Kaleb, and Lilah. Siblings include Robert (Karen) Gurchiek of Gaylord., Lauretta (Tom) LaDuke of Washington Twp., and Shirley (Don) Carter of Washington Twp. Gervase was preceded in death by siblings, Arlene & Beatrice. Donations to Karmonos Hospice would be appreciated. Funeral services will take place on Friday at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. Visitation: on Thursday from 2-9 PM. On Friday from 9 AM till 11 AM when the service starts Services: on Friday at 11 AM at the Henry M.
