Gladys Elsie Kage

Gladys E. Kage was born on March 15, 1939 to Paul and Martha (Meitz) Fiebelkorn on a farm in Utica. After graduation from High School she began working for an insurance company. On June 18, 1960 Gladys married Elmer Kage Jr. and they had three children Cindy (Thomas) Wunsche, Almont, Michigan, Sherry Kage, Washington, Michigan, and Duane Kage, Almont Michigan. They lived in Sterling Heights until 1972 when they moved to Almont. Elmer and Gladys started Kage Trucking Inc. which they operated for 15 years. Gladys then worked at Lapeer and Crittenton Hospitals as a unit secretary for 17 years. Gladys enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, crafts, fishing, snowmobiling and four-wheeling. Gladys is preceded in death by her brothers, Arnold Fiebelkorn and Harold Fiebelkorn. Gladys will be laid to rest at Ferguson Cemetery, Almont, Michigan.
