Glenn L. Edgerton

Glenn L. Edgerton, 91, of Washington Township, Michigan passed away on December 11, 2021 at Wellbridge of Romeo. Glenn was born in Clawson, Michigan on March 14. 1930 to Joseph Elmer Edgerton and Catherine Eunice (Hoopengarner). He joined the United States Air Force in 1947 and served for 3 years. He married Phyllis Bond on September 1, 1950. Glenn enjoyed gardening, reading and traveling. He was a Tool and Die worker and retired from DeVlieg Machine Company at age 62. After retirement, he and Phyllis made numerous trips to Virginia and Florida, visiting family and friends. Glenn and Phyllis had three children: Deborah (Charles) Matyanowski, Robin (Michelle) Edgerton and Carmen (Gerald) Hinds. Glenn has 8 living grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis and grandchildren Jared Hinds, Matthew Matyanowski, River Edgerton and Jacob Edgerton. Visitation will be held at The Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home (11280 32 Mile Road, Romeo, Michigan 48065) on Sunday, December 19, 2021 from 4-8 p.m. with service and memory sharing at 6:30 p.m. Burial will take place Tuesday December 21, 2021 at 11am at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
