Gloria Adams

Gloria Adams, age 80, a 39 year resident of Bruce Twp. And formerly from Detroit, passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2007 at her home.  Gloria was born October 18, 1926 in Detroit the daughter of Charles and Lydia (Butler/Frost).  Gloria married George E. Adams on Feb.1, 1944 in Anaheim, California and he preceded her in death on August 19, 2005. Along with her husband, they operated the Armada Flea Market for 35 years.  She enjoyed working in the antique business and reading about antiques.  Gloria was also an avid garage sale shopper.  She attended the Dryden Wesleyan Church for many years.      Gloria is survived by her children:  George Jr. (Isabelle) Adams of Shelby Twp., Janice (Pete) Piccini of Washington Twp., Gary (Pamela) of China Twp., and William Adams of Bruce Twp.  Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren , and her sister Violet (Lou Dinardo) Smith. Gloria was preceded in death by her great grandson Jacob Richard Allen and her brothers Fred, Charles, Floyd & Harvey Standfest.      Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 7:00 PM at the Henry M Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Rev.
