Gordon F. Hyska

Gordon "Gordy" Frank Hyska Long time resident of Romeo, Michigan passed away peacefully at his home on May 15, 2019. Gordy was born on October 11, 1948 to Robert and Eleanor Hyska in Detroit Michigan. Gordy was a proud employee of the Ford Motor Company.  He served 35 years as a Quality Control Manager and was a member of the local UAW 8820. Gordy enjoyed watching all sports and had a life long love for his mother's cooking.  He attempted to replicate her famous dishes as a tribute to her and the fond memories of his childhood. Gordy's sense of humor, smile and unforgettable laugh will be missed and memories made will always be cherished.  Gordy is survived by his daughter, Renee Hyska and three sons, brothers; Bob (Joann) Hyska and Richard (Peggy) Hyska, many loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews, his kitten GKoos and best friends Vanessa Naschak and Valerie Bonello. Gordy is preceded in death by his parents and precious daughter, Kristen Hyska and beloved cat, Paczki. A graveside service will be performed at the Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 10:00 a.m.
