Gurley L. Frost, age 79, a lifelong Romeo area resident, passed away on Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital Center. Gurley was born in Romeo on March 17, 1929, the son of William and Merle (Kimball) Frost. Gurley retired from TRW in Washington Twp. working in quality control in 1991. He previously worked at Hamill Manufacturing. He enjoyed walking the beaches at his cottage in Port Austin, working on all type of paintings (oil, pencil, & ink), and doing anything with his family. Gurley served his Country in the Army during the Korean War. Gurley is survived by his siblings, his twin sister Shirley Aalbertsberg of Romeo, Marshall (Helen) of Arkansas & Roy of Washington Twp. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers Jim, Bill, & Doc., and sister Florence Rocker and Mary Pevitt. Funeral services will take place on Saturday at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Rev. Lonnie Frost officiating. Burial will take place in the Powell Cemetery. Arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo. Visitation will take place on Thursday from 7-9 and on Friday from 2-9. Visitation: Visitation Times Thurs 7-9 & Fri 2-9 Malburg Funeal Home
