Harold Knust, age 92, a lifelong Macomb County resident, passed away on Wednesday, July 18, 2007 at the Pine Meadows Assisted Living in Armada.  Harold was born on his parents Lennox Twp. Farm, the son of Ernest and Lilly (Stier) Knust.  He married Hazel E. Bade on Sept. 21, 1934 in New Baltimore and she preceded him in death on August 9, 2006.  Beside farming his whole life, he worked as a carpenter for Burt VanDyke Building in Applegate, MI. Along with his wife, they were long time members of St Peter's Lutheran Church in Muttonville, MI. where he was on the Church Board and a member of its Men's Club.  Upon moving to the Romeo area, he joined Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Washington Twp.  He was also on the Board of Directors for the New Haven Elevator and his hobbies include gardening, fishing, & being a gadget collector.     Harold is survived by his two children,  Lee J. (Annette) Knust of Lowell, MA., and Pat (Bill) Hahn of Romeo.  Also survived by grandchildren Ron (Julie) Hahn of Highland, MI., Sue (Darryl) Curtis of Romeo, Pat (Vic) Lallie of Maynard, MA., Donna (Peter) Lorman of New Boston, NH., James (Thea) Knust of Merrimack, NH., Edward (Ruth) Knust of Lowell, MA., & Susan (Robert) Cox of Nashua, NH along with 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  Survived by sister in law Helen Knust of Romeo and brother in law Roy Bade of New Baltimore.  He was preceded in death by his brother Wilbert.       Funeal services will take place on Monday at 11:30 AM at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of Washington Twp. with Rev. Jeffrey Drager officiating.  Burial will follow in Bruce-Armada Cemetery.  Donations to Our Redeemer or Hospice of Michigan would be appreciated.  Arrangements by the Henry M.
