Harriet E. Gould

Harriet E. Gould, age 86, a lifelong Romeo area resident, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Twp. Harriet was born February 15, 1923 in Romeo, the daughter of Clyde and Ethel (Pellett) Bentley. She married Joseph Gould and she preceded her in death in 2001. Harriet worked for the Pontiac Nursery for many years in the personnel department. For many years, Harriet belonged to the AMVET’s Aux. in Armada and belonged to the Romeo Senior Citizens. Her hobbies included crocheting and knitting. Harriet is survived by her two daughters, Carol (John) Voorhees of Romeo and Nancy (Lee) Schovan of Rremus, MI. Also survived by 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings: Sam, Ted, Earl, and Bill Bentley along with Berice Reiss and Charlotte Spencer. Memorial visitation will take place on Sundaym July 26 from 2 –8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. Funeral services will take place on Monday at 11 AM with Pastor Ron Meadows of the Faith Freewill Baptist Church of Ray Township officiating. Visitation: on Sunday (July 26 ) from 2 pM till 8 pm Services: on Monday at 11 AM at the funeral home Interment: burial of ashes at the Romeo Cemetery
