Hazel Hartman

Hazel Hartman, age 83, a lifelong Romeo area resident, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2008 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital.  Hazel was born June 28, 1925 in Tennessee, the daughter of Walter and Emily (Wilhout) Greene.  Hazel was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Romeo, and her hobbies include canning, gardening, and most of all, being with family & friends.        Hazel is survived by her husband John,  children:  Donna Bevan of Romeo and Diane (Kevin) Okray of Armada Twp.  Also survived by grandchildren Robbie, Lauren, Melissa, and Andrew along with siblings, Dorothy Foust of St Clair Shores, Lorene Kimberling and Thorton Greene, both of Warren, MI.  Hazel was preceded in death by her daughter Sally Hartman.        Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Rev. Mark Evans of the St John Lutheran Church of Romeo officiating.  Burial will follow in the Romeo Cemetery.  Visitation will take place at the Henry M.
