Helen Barna

Helen Barna, age 88, a 23 year resident of Fort Wayne, Indiana and formerly from the Fraser, MI., area, passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at her home in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  Helen was born September 3, 1920 in Saltzburg, PA, the daughter of Michael & Helen (Loza) Brosko.  She married John Barna on April 15, 1939 and he preceded her in death in 1973. Helen enjoyed making all type of greeting cards, gardening, and crocheting.       Helen is survived by her children,  Linda (Michael) Stover of Fort Wayne, Indiana, Kathleen (Duane) Wilson of Wyandotte, MI., John (Anne) Barna of Mt Clemens, MI., and Vicki (Wayne) Spratke of Lewiston, MI.  Also survived by her son-in-law, Karl Fortner, along with 8 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren.  Also survived by her siblings Margaret, Mildred, Michael and Jean.  She was preceded in death by her daughter Barbara Fortner and siblings Steve, Vicki, Ted, Stanley, Losh (Jean), Ann & Mary.      Funeral services will take place on Sunday, May 11, 2008 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo at 6 PM.  Burial will take place on Monday, May 12, 2008 at the Romeo Cemetery.  Donations to the Hospice of your choice would be appreciated.
