Helen Clydesdale, age 86, a lifelong resident of Almont/Allenton areas, passed away on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at River District Hospital in St Clair, Michigan. Helen was born October 8, 1923 in Rochester, Michigan, the daughter of Louis and Mary (Czajka) Dombrowski. She married David Clydesdale on February 28, 1942 in Riley Center, MI. and he preceded her in death on April 10, 2001. Helen worked many manufacturing jobs and she retired in 1985 from Firestone Manufacturing in Imlay City. Along with her husband David, they were longtime members of St John Catholic Church in Allenton where Helen was on its Altar Society. Helen is survived by her daughter Peggy (Chuck) Richardson of St Helen, MI, (Formerly of Romeo), along with her grandchildren: Patricia (Todd) Utsman of Romeo, Susan Kerr of Almont, & Christopher (Pam) Richardson of Shelby Twp. Also survived by great grandchildren Jeremy, Emily, Jordan, Noah, Michaela, & Reagan. Helen is survived by siblings: Anna Pertteunen of Warren & Walter Dombrowski of Linden, MI. She was preceded in death by siblings: Theordore, Chester, Bruno, John, Frank, & Stanley Dombrowski and her sister Stella Hurst. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday at 11 AM at St John Catholic Church of Allenton with Fr. Jerry Frawley officiating. Burial to follow at the West Berlin Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday from 2-9 with a 7 PM Rosary at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. Visitation: on Monday from 2 -9 PM On Tuesday from 10:15 AM till 11 AM at St John Catholic Church Services: on Tuesday at 11 AM at St John Catholic Church in Allenton, Michigan Interment: West Berlin Cemetery in Allenton, Michigan
