Helen Foresi

Helen Foresi, age 91, a 30 year resident of the Romeo area and formerly from Detroit, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at the “Hillman’s Haven” nursing home in Hillman, Michigan. Helen was born January 14, 1918 in Hamtramck, Michigan, the daughter of John and Martha (Pustelak) Klotz. She married Loris Foresi and he preceded her in death on Feb. 18, 1986. Helen worked many years at the Plymouth Auto Assembly in Detroit and also worked cleaning houses with her mother Martha. Helen is survived by her children: Marcia (Robert) Marhevko of Hillman, Cheryl (Chris) Palazzolo and Lorraine McPherson both of Romeo. Grandchildren include Lori Keeley, Jennifer Dahn, Erin McPherson, Samantha & Anthony Palazzolo along with 4 great grandchildren. Her sister Eleanor Kawa of Detroit also survives. Funeral services will take place o Saturday, July 18 at 10 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Rev. Eric Majeski of Grace Lutheran Fellowship officiating. Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton Township. Arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan.
