Helen L. Jurek

Helen L. Jurek, age 88, of Romeo went to be with Jesus Thursday, May 10, 2007.  Helen was born January 15, 1919 in Denora Pennsylvania. She married Walter Jurek on Nov. 24, 1951 at the Sweetest Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Detroit.  Helen was a longtime member of St Clement Catholic Church in Romeo.  Her passion in life was her Church and being with her family.        Helen is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Barbara) of Ray Twp., MI. and Thomas (Denise) of Ray Twp.  Her grandchildren include Joseph (Jessica) , Staci, Matthew, Tracy & Julie. Great grandchildren include Gabriel & Melissa. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter in July of 1987.      Funeral services will take place on Monday at 10 AM at St Clement Catholic Church of Romeo followed by burial at the Romeo Cemetery.  Donations to the Alzheimer's Association would be appreciated.
