Herbert (Sherm) S. Rundles, age 79, a resident of Shelby Township Michigan, passed away on Saturday, May 23, 2020 at Beaumont Hospital in Troy, Michigan. Sherm was born July 22, 1940 in Detroit, the son of Don H. and Virginia (Sherman) Rundles. After graduating from Roseville High School in 1958, He joined the Michigan National Guard. He started working for General Motors, first at Chevrolet Detroit Zone, then at Chevrolet Information Systems, the GM Data Center and finally at E.D.S.. In 1975 in married Linda Keppelman in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. But his life hobby was making chocolate. In 1979 he bought along with his wife Linda, the “Ice Cream Saloon” in downtown Romeo and soon after started making chocolates. It was then later moved to its current location in Washington Township that he owned until just last year called “Juliet Chocolates”. While not making chocolate or being with his many family & friends, Sherm enjoyed hunting and old cars. Sherm is survived by his loving wife Linda, daughter Shirley (Richard) Slocum of California along with 2 grandchildren Kylie & Spencer. He is also survived by his sister Kay (Kevin) Myers of LaGrange, Indiana. Services will be private with a burial at Great Lakes Veteran Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
