Iris Ann Baade

Iris Ann Baade, age 60, a resident of Lake Wales Florida since 1995, and previously from Emmett, MI., and Romeo, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 in Florida. Iris was born May 19, 1951 in Mt Clemens, the daughter of Lyman and Mary (Mihaiu) Baade. Iris worked as a seamstress for Ford Motor Company for many years before retiring to Florida. Iris was a 1970 graduate of Romeo High School, loved being with her dog Foxy and enjoyed all her extended family in both Florida and Michigan. Iris is survived by her mother Mary of Romeo, brother Lyman (Gail) of Oakland Township. Also survived by niece Kelly and nephew Travis. Preceded in death by father Lyman H. Baade and brother William Baade. Funeral services will take place on Sunday at 4 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with Rev. Mark Evans of St John Lutheran Church of Romeo officiating. Burial will take place on Monday at 10 AM at the Romeo Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from noon till 4 PM. Immediately following the service at 4 PM, Mrs Baade and her family invite everyone for a Funeral Luncheon at the St John Lutheran Church of Romeo. It is located at 246 Benjamin Street in Romeo. Directions will be given after the service.
