Isabel E. Jackson

Isabel E. Jackson, age 84, a longtime resident of the Romeo area, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2012 at her home. Isabel was born April 1, 1928, the daughter of George and Rose Ervin. She married Abner A. Jackson on May 20, 1950 at the Evangelical Lutheran Church of Warren, MI., and he preceded her in death on January 14, 2003. In her younger days, Isabel was a trick ride horse competitor. Along with her husband, they raised and trained thoroughbred horses for many years. They were also well known in the Romeo area as antique dealers, where they sold and bought antiques. Isabel is survived by her children: Kelly (Mark) Lyons of Romeo & Patrick (Susan) Jackson of Hartland, MI. Also survived by grandchildren: Jennifer (Justin) Bryzelak of Rochester, MI., Danielle (Derrick) Donahue of Romeo, and Leigh & Brett Jackson. Great grandchildren include Peyton Kelly Bryzelak & Brody Lawson Donahue. Isabel is also survived by her sister Merrill Paine of Waterford, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband and son Brian Jackson. Funeral services will be private. Local arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo Michigan. Visitation: none planed
