Jacqueline L. Wunsche

Jacqueline L. Wunsche, age 63, a resident of Romeo since 1991 and previously from the Utica/Rochester/Auburn Hills area, passed away on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at her home. Jacqueline was born December 14, 1954 in Baltimore, Maryland, the daughter of James P. Bennett and JoAnn Darnell Burmeister). She married John Wunsche on June 23, 1973 in Auburn Hills, MI. Jacqueline last worked for Plastco Industries in Romeo. She also worked at the Big Boy Restaurant’s in Romeo, Lapeer and Bloomfield Hills as a manager/server and also at the Denny’s Restaurant in Rochester. Her hobbies include doing all type of crafts, an avid piano player since she was a small child, crocheting, and scrap booking. She was also a long time member of Grace Lutheran Fellowship in Bruce Township where she sang in the choir. Jacqueline is survived by her husband John, children: Sean (Gerri) of Sterling Heights, Amy (Nick) Antonucci of Bruce Township and Scott (Nellie) of Washington. Also survived by grandchildren Blake, Alaina, Salvatore, Gabriella, Allana, Brook, and Carley. Her parents James (Madeline) Bennett and Joann Burmeister survive. Jacque’s surviving siblings include Teresa (Michael) Wolf of Edgewood, MD, Darlene Bennett of Edgewood, MD, Jim (Arne) Grandell-Bennett of Bear, DE, John (Carrie) Burmeister of Auburn Hills, Beth (Kurt) Williams of Williamston, Sandra (Mark) Yagiela of Rochester Hills, Cynthia (Greg) Schleicher of Washington Twp., Tom (Cindy) Wunsche of Almont, and Bryan (Sandy) Wunsche of Cranberry, PA. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother-in-law/father-in-law Frederick & Doris Wunsche as well as her step-father Harold Burmeister. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, March 10 at 11 AM at Grace Lutheran Fellowship (7525 32 Mile Road, Romeo). Burial will take place at the Bruce-Armada Cemetery in Bruce Township. Visitation will take place on Friday, March 9 from 2-8 PM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. (11280 32 Mile Road, Romeo Michigan 48065) and on Saturday at the Church from 10 AM—11 AM.
