James E. Perkins

James E. Perkins, “Bub” a generours and kind man died at his home on February 6, 2016 after a lengthy illness.  Born in Romeo, son of James and Phyllis Perkins. Jim graduated from Romeo high School, served in the US Army and worked for Ebeling & Hicks until retirement.  Jim is survived by his children:  Jim (Peggy), of Armada, Lynda Majcherek of Shelby Twp., Amy Fisher of Ft Meyers, FL, Patty (Peter) Van Tiem of Queen Creek, AZ. Nine grandchildren; special grandson, Bobby (Kendra) Gott who was so attentive during his grandfather’s illness.  Sisters; Judi Newcomb of Sylvan Lake, & Patt (Bud) Brotebeck of Portage.  As requested, cremation has taken place. There will be no service with burial of cremains at Romeo Cemetery on Wednesday, February 17 at noon. Local arrangements by the Malburg Funeral Home, Romeo.
