James E. Uhazie, age 79, of Bruce Twp., and formerly from Warren and Clinton Twp., passed away on Sunday, May 23, 2010 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. James was born July 24, 1930 in Uniontown, PA., the son of John & Mary (Strauch) Uhazie. Jim married Sarah Crawford on January 6, 1951. Jim retired as a computer programmer and systems analyst for the IRS. He served his Country during the Korean War in the Navy. His hobbies included being an expert wood worker, specializing in ducks and boxes. He also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golf and spending time with his family and friends. Jim is survived by his wife Sarah of Bruce Twp., two sons: Scott (Mary) of Clinton Twp., and Mark (Jacqueline) of Washington Twp. Also survived by siblings: Leona (Bill) Narkus & Charles Uhazie both of Warren, MI., and George (Marion) Uhazie of Florida. Jim was preceded in death by siblings: Margaret, John, Tom, & Frank Uhazie, Christina Laco, Annabel Churan, Emma Hanson, and Helen McCuen. Funeral services will take place on Thursday at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home of Romeo with the Rev. Mark Evans of the St John Lutheran Church of Romeo officiating. Burial will follow in the Glen Eden Cemetery in Macomb Township. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 1-9 PM. Visitation: Wednesday from 1 - 9 PM Services: on Thursday at 11 AM at the Henry M.
