Janet M. Pillivant

Janet M. Pillivant, age 75, a Romeo/Washington Twp. Resident since 1972 passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on June 10, 2017. Janet was born on January 2, 1942 in Spangler, Pennsylvania the daughter of Charles and Gladys (Yahner) Westrick. On June 8, 1962 she married Charles Pillivant at St. Germaine Catholic Church in St. Clair Shores, Michigan. Janet spent many years working for Michigan Bell. She loved playing Tennis, Biking, Cross Country Skiing, Crocheting, and Playing Cards. Janet is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Charles “Chuck” of Washington Twp. Children Charles “Chuck” Jr. (Amy) of Lake Orion, Scott (Laura) of Lake Orion, and Chris of Shelby Twp.. Brothers David (Sharon) Westrick of Shelby Twp., Charles (Cheryl) Westrick of Utica. Sister Beth Burris of Texas. Lastly 7 grandchildren. Funeral services will take on Thursday, June 15, 2017 at 10 AM at St. Clement Catholic Church. Visitation will be on Wednesday, june 14, 2017 from 5-8 with a rosary at 7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Michigan Humane Society of Macomb County ( 11350 22 Mile Rd, Utica, MI 48317) and Grace Hospice (1985 Gratiot Blvd #2B, Marysville, MI 48040).
