Janet R. Mariotti

Janet R. Mariotti, age 82, of Clinton Township, Michigan, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital. Janet was born February 25, 1935 in Poughkeepsie, New York, the daughter of Irving and Mildred (LeFever) Scott. Janet worked as a Desk Clerk at the Holiday Inn for 15 years in Sterling Heights. She enjoyed playing cards, going to the casino, dancing, and coffee. Janet loved her grandchildren. She had a green thumb for houseplants and loved to play dice, cards, and especially her family. Janet is survived by sons Todd (Lori Anne) Mariotti of Burtchville and Troy (Carrie) Mariotti of Clinton Township, and daughter Renee Mariotti-English of Clinton Township, as well as grandchildren Alfred and Sara English, Tyler and Collin Mariotti, Alana-Marie Carrington, and great-grandchildren Madison and Carson Carrington, and brother Lee (Joan) Scott of Columbiaville. Janet was preceded in death by daughter Robin Mariotti in 1985. Funeral services will take place on Saturday May 6, 2017 at 5 PM at the Henry Malburg Funeral Home. Visitation will be held before the service from 3-5 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family. Light refreshments will be served during visitation.
