Janetta L. Smiles

Janetta L. Smiles, age 77, a lifelong Romeo resident, passed away on Saturday March 2, 2019 in Armada, Michigan. Janetta was born on May 4, 1941, the daughter of Cort and Virginia Imbler. She graduated from Romeo High School in 1960. On November 22, 1985 she married Richard (Dick) Smiles. Janetta loved to do puzzles and crosswords, go bowling and on “short vacations”, listen to music, and watch Fox News. Janetta is survived by her husband Dick of Armada. Children; Debbie (Mike) Bazzo of Utica, Bill (Kim) Creed of Almont, Lori (Mike) Jones of Almont, Jeff Smiles of Davisburg, Todd of Oxford & daughter in law Kristi of Lake Orion. Also survived by sister Mary Palmater of Washington D.C.. 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Janetta was preceded in death by her sister Sherry (Lou) Crampton and son Terry Smiles. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at 11 AM at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home with Pastor Mark Evans officiating. Visitation will take place on Monday March 4, 2019 from 3-8 at the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association (225 N.
