Janice P. Reiss

Janice P. Reiss, age 79, a resident of Bruce Twp for 48yrs. Passed away peacefully on December 30, 2021 at Vista Springs in Romeo, Mi. Janice was born on May 27, 1942 in Capac, Mi; daughter of Earl and Mary (Grant) Fischer. Janice was married to her loving husband Benjamin for 59yrs, they married at St. Lawrence Church on September 9, 1961. Janice enjoyed to knit, sew, craft, and loved to bowl. She worked for Shotwell’s Men’s Clothing and Community National Bank. She is survived by her daughters Cheryl (Bruce) Cunningham of Ray Twp, Paula (John) Wrobel of Almont Mi. Sisters, Diane Burgeson of Rochester, and Kathryn (Roby) Workman. Four grandchildren, Dan (Emily) Cunningham, John (Chelsea) Wrobel, Linda (Kyle) Lackowski and Ben (Carly Fouche’) Also three great-grandchildren, Cade and Cora Lackowski, and Fae Wrobel. Janice is preceded in death by her husband Benajamin 2021,daughter Linda in 1984, and her sister Linda Fischer in 1949, as well as her daughter Linda Reiss in 1984. Funeral Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes donations be sent to Hospice Care. Local arrangements by the Henry M. Malburg Funeral Home in Romeo, Mi.
